My ps2 loads the game fine then it comes to the screen were it flashes Playstation 2. then it goes blank and freezes the system. The only way to reset it is by using the power switch. I can still open the disk slot but every time it freezes there even with different games. I have the older model ps2 by the way. does this me i have to by a new ps2 or is there something i can do to this one. thanks for any help.
