Transfering xbox saves to the 360?????

Does anyone know if or how we are going to be able to transfer file / game saves from XBOX to the 360??

I ask this because the 360 will not have a port to allow one to plug in a current XBOX memory card.

So if the 360 will be backwards compatible for most of the popular XBOX titles (Halo, Halo 2, Splinter Cell series, GTA series, NCAA FB 2006, Madden 2006, NASCAR 2006, etc.) ... how will we transfer our saves for these games from XBOX to the 360??

Will we be out of luck on this issue? ... I highly doubt this, but you never know.

Will MS or a 3rd-party develop a device (and have it in the marketplace around launch) so we can transfer XBOX saves to the 360?

Will MS create something with XBOX Live to transfer XBOX saves to the 360?

Will we have to put our saves on our PC's and then transfer the saves to 360?

I know I will still want to play my XBOX titles (like the ones listed above, and new ones I buy before the 360 is released) even after I buy a 360.
And once I have a 360 I plan on donating or giving away my XBOX.
Because in my opinion, I will not need the old system if I can play my XBOX favorites provided I can transfer my XBOX saves to the 360.

I pose the question because I have not read or heard anything concerning this ...

Clearly, I know I read somewhere that we'd be able to use old controllers right? If so, then that solves it. Anyone can confirm this? That will clear up any speculation. If not, I think I heard of being able to save to online "drive" and then transfer. If not, maybe we get another extension for about 20-30 that connects directly to the 360 and gets the memory card saves in there. Just a thought. Brainstorming....
