Which controller do you think is the best. I had two of the one thats supposed to be the best. THe longitech one for 50 bucks. Anyway each one of them the a button got stuck and the analog wasn't that tight. So I am looking for a new wireless, so any suggestions?

The Logitech's are the best, if the button is messed I would take it back.

I am assuming you have an Xbox. I have the Pelican 2.4 wireless Eclipse, I believe. Hard to recommend based on your complaints with the Logitech. The left and right analogue sticks are not as tight as the MS S style controller, and I feel that the face buttons are not as responsive as can be. I do like the overall design with the black and white buttons added as shoulder buttons.

I actually like the controller very much, but I am not as good a gamer as the rest of the guys at OS so my taste may not coincide with your needs.

As far as battery life, it is excellent. I get easily 20-25 hours. Range is excellent as well. I walk all over the house, feeding cats and making dinner, while playing NCAA2004 (can't afford the new one).

For the price it might be worth a chance. Sorry this wasn't a direct answer to your question.

this is a site with some specs on it

Go to the Xbox section, I believe it's called the Edge wireless controller.

That's the one that Ghambino was referring to, and I've got it as well.

I have to say that after a while of using it, it is very good. I believe the logitech, although I haven't used it before, will probably feel the most like an official MS controller.

I've found the analog stick to work pretty well, it'll take you a few days, or a number of hours to break it in to your liking. the buttons are harder to press in then the normal controller, but again it's something you get used to after a little bit of play.

I mainly got this controller because of the white and black shoulder buttons, and bought the wireless version because it was only 7 bucks more than the wired one.

The range is fantastic, although my room isn't too big that I am using it in, but I have gone to my front door and moved around in the menu, gone back in my room and see that it did actually work.

You can find it at wal-mart for about $27, pretty good deal IMO. It's got the memory card slot built into the receiver as well so you don't have to worry about that compatibility. Only drawback is the no live headset functionality.

I definitely recommend giving it a try, and hell, if you get it from Wal-Mart they'll return it if you don't like it. They seem to return anything at all these days, gotta love WM.

Get the Logitech. I bought the Logitech wireless controller off of eBay for $35 shipped and also the wireless XBox Live headset as well for $35.

You could save 15% or more on consumer electronics by switching to eBay.

                Re: Wireless control

I had a Logitech wireless controller, the first once released by Logitech for the xbox and it was incredibly big and bulky, the d-pad had no form to it and the analog sticks were terrible, havent tried the new logitech ones yet. I do have the pelican wireless controller, the camo one that came out not to long ago and it works perfect so far, doesnt cut out at all, batteries seem to last for awhile, has rumble features and the buttons are pretty responsive for me when I play NCAA Football 2006.
