    360:Enchant Arm. So?

    Here is a 360 Japanese RPG with videos. I'm sorry but I couldn't be more underwhelmed. It looks like a FF style game. But graphically, looks indentical to FFX on the PS2. Are we supposed to be impressed, cuz I just don't see it? The cut scenes are decent, but they are on the PS2 as well. THe actual gameplay looks like it was made 3 years ago.

      honestly, at this point I'm just glad the Xbox 360 is getting more Japanese style RPG's...

          Don't expect much on the graphics side of things with next-gen consoles right away. Especially with screen shots a good 6 months before the release. Have you ever slipped in the first madden for PS2 or Xbox? Give them time, it'll clean up.

              Look at it from this perspective, though. Think number of on-screen characters. Think depth of game, or how long it'll take you to complete it. Think all these things, and that's what we should be focusing on when it comes to next gen RPG's.

              I know it's been said, but I just can't see how it can get THAT MUCH better, graphic wise.

                  I was underwhelmed too, but it's an JRPG, and it's being developed by From Software, who's never been known for graphics. The graphics are probably what developers spend the least amount of time on with RPG's, and focus more on story, characters, battle system, but I was expecting better.

                  These shots don't look all that bad...

                          I've really never played an RPG. I know they're appealing but I want to get one that's just right. I think the closest thing I've played was Jade Empire with no turn-based fighting. This game does look like it could run smooth on the PS2 right now. Was a little lackluster, but those screenshots you dropped Flawless were kind of nice. Still picks do so much justice I guess. I'll have to get more information on this joint for real before I make a move towards.

                              Oh they don't look bad. But are no better than FFX on the PS2 which was 2001. I would think they'd look a LITTLE better. Look at what we've seen of Oblivion so far. It's leaps and bounds ahead in the visuals.
