DVI or HDMI LCD...
a friend and i were debating which connection is better. what do you think or know?...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Tags: None -
Re: DVI or HDMI LCD...
It all depends: http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messa...79/122868.html
HDMI and DVI are equal but HDMI carries an audio signal in it too, so you only need 1 cable for audio and video. DVI is just Video and you need seperate audio cables. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: DVI or HDMI LCD...
If you have any interest whatsoever in either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, make sure if you get something with DVI that it is HDCP compliant. If you get a TV with a DVI input that isn't, then you are screwed. HD signals will not be transmitted through component video inputs or non-HDCP compliant DVI.
All HDMI inputs are HDCP compliant by nature, so there are no worries there. For that reason, along with only requiring one single cable for both video and audio, I say that HDMI is better. It is also definitely much more future proof than DVI for reasons I already mentioned, so you are going to see more and more electronics having only HDMI inputs.Comment
