            so how exactly did the buttons not work? A cleaning wouldn't have solved it?

                They have a real heavy feeling when you push them.. The coffee (with sugar and cream) became kinda solid.. I may take it apart to mess around with it.. I just don't have a screw driver small enough to get it apart right now.
