The game is awesome. I have been playing the demo for the past week and I'm hooked! I want to buy this game, but it costs $50! I'm looking for a cheaper price and I'll definitely get it.

Taken from ea's battlefield 2 website battlefield 2

Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
    ATI Radeon 8500 or greater

should work, but the graphics might not look that great. I have a 6800 GT 256 mb and have the graphics at low settings, and even though I can probably get high settings, I just haven't bothered.

Put me down as another supporter for BF2. It's AWESOME and totally time-consuming.

should work with graphic tweaks, probably low graphics settings.

I'm not sure, but even though my computer can have almost the best graphics for the game, I am using low graphics because I have been too lazy to configure it. The low graphics are perfectly fine to just play. I am really not a graphics guy anyway, although nice graphics would be good, but not required, especially if the gameplay is what the game is all about (.....GTA series anyone?).

The graphics have shadow problems for me, like everything has a huge blocky shadow, but it doesn't bother me because I can see everything else fine. The trees are too fake and blocky too, but I don't care because this game is completely playable.

I'd say get the demo from www.ea.com and test it out. If it works fine for you, then go ahead and buy it. Oh and look for me in the demo, I'm bball1523, and I usually go to LAX demo servers.

I just downloaded the demo to se if it would even work on my computer since I dont meet the requirements for the video card and it runs very smoothly. Here are the specs to my computer:

                P4 2.6 w/HT
                1 gig RAM
60 GB SATA HD made by SeaGate
                NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

I have to get used to the game a bit more first. Plus I am going to get a microphone from work tomorrow to use as well and I will play with you. I really suck vs the AI right now.

it's like battlefront in that you are on two teams and you go all out against each other. The thing is that it's modern day combat, and you can fly planes, ride tanks, etc. It's fun, you should try it out.
