RPG fans in the house?

Dragon Warrior 1 was my first RPG ever, way back when they gave it away with a subscription to Nintendo Power, in the NES days...

Did you know that the game is so popular in Japan that they had to make a law to only sell it on the weekends because of the millions of people that played hooky from work and school just to play dragon quest on release day?

Anyway, this is the first time that the game is totally in 3D and it looks nothing short of incredible.
It's traditionally lighthearted fare and I expect that tone to continue with this game...
but if any of you like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy, then this might be your next favorite RPG series. (it's mine, tied with Digital Devil Saga).

I love rpg's!
Yup I've been looking forward to this one. That's crazy how all those people skipped work/school... didn't know that part, but I knew it was big back there. So when is it going to be released here?

Another one I'm looking forward to is Wild Arms Alter Code F. Should be out soon but it keeps getting delayed for some reason. It's a remake of the original PSX game. Since I never played the original, it will be like a fresh game to me with all the enhancements.

Not sure if I can say that I'm an RPG "fan," but I can say I have every intention to get this game. Dragon Warrior was my first video game RPG as well. I like the genre a lot, but the PC versions of Baldur's Gate is my preferred style.

Still... I hope I can afford to get this.
