Naw man, play the demo and you'll see how entertaining this is.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Originally posted by fishepaI loved Burnout 3, I just don't like what I see from the videos that you can drive right through traffic and hit them and they fly off intot he distance like tin cans. It's sort of like you are driving an invincible car until you hit oncoming traffic of course.
From my experiences with the demo, smashing into traffic adds a new element of indeptness to the gameplay. You can smash into another car, cause a huge pileup and watch as your opponents get tangled up. And of course points are added. Or if you opponent has just passed you up, you can sorta soccer kick a car at him and nail him from a distance. From what I can see, you cant smash into trucks or buses. That element along with being able to explode your car any time after you crash adds a ton of more gameplay options to your arsenal.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

If its anything I'll give EA credit for, is that they really know how to fine tune and polish a game. The checking of cars is simply an addition to add more stratergy to the game. It simply is'nt cosmetic cause it looks or feels cool. If you happen to see 20 cars flying around online, they serve a purpose. Add on the way the levels are designed, they're offering more strategic ways to defeat the comp.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

I'll tell you what. I usually dont play demos. In fact, I got a collection of unopened OPM disc that are collecting dust. But I may have spent at least 5 hours total playing that one level on the Burnout demo. Its funny cause I played that demo more than Madden itself this year. If the demo is any indication of the fun factor that game will have, then the retail is easily worth 50 bones.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Burnout Revenge
I found it really strange that this burnout is only like 2 gigabytes on the disk, while the others where over 4 gigabytes. Lazy EA again
This really bothers me when the other developers where using up the whole disk and now EA only uses half the disk. Which means they took something out or a little less of something.Last edited by freezeframe; 09-13-2005, 01:58 PM.Comment
