DANG, I said IGN gets 10 million unique visitors a month, I was way off...they get 45 million per month! Definately a good deal then. (for anyone curious myspace.com gets 25 million visitors a month)

Sorry to bump it again with more info but in the press release, I just noticed, Newscorp is paying 650 million in cash.

Anyone actually subscribed to IGN Insider and can tell us how it's like? I'm thinking about a subscription, but I'm wary about the quality of the content that I'm going to get. Yes, it is only a paltry monthly fee of less than $2 for $20 a year, but I don't want to put $20 without knowing what I'm getting into.

            Straight cash, homie.

That's nuts. I hope IGN doesn't become too biased through their reviews now, but I don't really see it happening.

I have one but to be honest it's really only worth it right after E3 when there is all the insider videos of new games in high-resolution. The rest of the year the Insider area isn't really all that great. It's worth $20 a year to me because come E3 i'm starved for info on NCAA, Madden, etc but not sure it would be to alot of others who are more general gamers.
