The Good The Bad And the Ugly

"The Good, The Bad & The Ugly game signed
Bits Studios has acquired the rights to the classic western following a deal with MGM Interactive.
The deal includes all three of Sergio Leone's The Man With No Name trilogy. The first game in the series to get the videogame treatment will be The Good, The Bad & The Ugly despite being the final film of the trilogy.

Bits Studios CEO Foo Katan has revealed that he has secured sections of Ennio Morricone's terrific scores, "the most important aspect we embrace in the game beyond the film itself. They are powerful and unforgettable scores that you really associate with the films."

No publisher has been linked to the games yet, but we can expect to see Clint Eastwood (or a reasonable likeness) to appear on PC and consoles in 2006.

The first game will take the form of a third-person action adventure that will keep the tone of the movies but explore an alternate storyline. The game's action will include horse riding, fist fighting and of course gun fighting.

No doubt I am getting this one, this is my favorite western of all time.

It's also one of my faves of all time as well. This should be a pretty good game. I'm glad it's a 3rd person game as I don't really like FPS'.

How is the game set-up? I know there will be a linear storyline, but will there be side-missions, or some possible RPG elements added to the game?

How was that game by the way? I see it is 19.99 now, I was thinking of picking it up.
