Rainbow Six ''Letdown''

$50 wasted,

I bought it yesterday and I'm trading it back at EB tomorrow. This game is awful. I don't even care if I get only $15 for it. This piece of crap will get out of my house as soon as possible.

The solo campaign is complete garbage. It's so linear and unrealistic.

Online is filled with problems. Disconnection, mic, cheese, glitches. And when none of those occurs, it's still a poor excuse for an online tactical shooter as there are much superior games on the market.

Is it too hard to make a console Rainbow Six that is a little bit like the PC version? Or do they think we all want some sub-par FPS with a crappy story? (Tom Clancy has definitely not approved the story of this game, the terrorists are the lamest ever and their goal is so basic and unoriginal)

This fails both as a tactical shooter and a FPS... There are way better products out there.

I'll know better when Ubi releases another Rainbox Six/Ghost Recon console game. They are ruining good franchise with this arcade crap.

I can't believe I went in all this trouble to find a copy. What a disappointment.

two thumbs up on the threat title vyce. i am also a little disappointed with the game. I dont feel quite as strong as you, but I do feel its a little bit of a letdown. I guess Halo online has just ruined me with their easy to navigate menus and gameplay.

I'm playing the ps2 version... with the rivalry mode... Games last like 40 sec and then you have to load another screen. If only the game was fun I wouldn't complain... but Lockdown has as much in common with the other Rainbow Six series as the SWAT movie (with Colin Farrel) with the real SWAT. (No strategy, weird plot that doesn't fit the theme, poor execution)

Oh and did you notice when you're badly inured there are bullet holes in your google? Sorry but when there are bullet holes in your google you aren't badly injured... you're dead...

yay for the arcadish crap that Rainbow Six has become.

I hated the demo, but love the Xbox version. Very impressed with it.

Aren't most Tom Clancy/Ubisoft games horrible on the PS2? The past rainbow games and splinter cell games always looked much, much better on the Xbox, not to mention play better on xbox live.
