To be really honest with you, all those screens looked like they could have been for Xbox, Really if you think about it, some of those screens looked like still shots of in game cinematic's ala..the Ray Allen screen shot and the Soccer screen, look at the first screen of the game "World Air Force" I mean come on I've seen Xbox games that did look better. A few looked like in game shot's, and those really did nothing for me. I mean for the nextgen system these screens really didn't look all that better then the xbox. Guy's like I said only my opinion.

I agree, the only game I am impressed with visually is Ghost Recon and PG3.

Eventhough most are old, I agree some of those aren't to impressive, but out of those noway in hell could PGR3, Kameo, RE5 and Test Drive be done on current consoles.

It's like 1999 all over again. Similar comments were being made back then by some. There was alot of unimpressive games at the PS2's launch, and throughout the years. As well as in 2001 with the Xbox, and so on. At the PS2 and Xbox launches only about a handful of games blew me away. It's about the same this time. The developers who were at the top this gen in graphics will be at the top again next gen. There will always be crappy looking games.

Currently, none of the Xbox 360 games are doing any real multi-threading, and what happens is the one thread on the one core being used gets maxed out, and then the GPU has to wait on the CPU. So when games start really using the CPU, the GPU will have less idle cycles, and games can start looking much, much better.

The point is, graphics will indeed go up, potentially very significantly, once the CPU is better utilized.

That's exactly why I can wait it out......I think.

if those screenshots are in game thats cool but i highly doubt it. No way will the initial batch of project gotham 3 screenshots(not these. For some reason these look worse than the initial batch) look like that in real time. I dont want it to be true, but we may have to face the possibility of a madden like dissapointment for alot of these games. Im not gonna hold any stock until i see somethign that isnt a trailer and guarenteeed in game.

This isn't EA. Bizarre Creations has never put out misleading screens of their games. That's standard practice for EA and we should've known better. Come X05 you will see that PGR3 looks as good as those screens, probably better.
