I ordered mine yesterday and got an e-mail today that said that my order would not ship on time. It has been delayed for some reason. The details they gave me were real sketchy. Has anyone talked to them(Wal-Mart.com) about what the deal is? It looks like they just can't ship the games, I don't get it, there is no mention of the console in the e-mail, just the games.

Here's part of the e-mail:

For those of you who were wondering, gamestop still has some launch bundles for order. I just ended up getting one, although I'll end up taking the games back. Oh well, you live and learn.

I talked to them on the phone and they said that the games had been delayed but the rest, including the console would ship as expected. I'll believe it when I see it. I also sent them and e-mail. I'll post my results when I get an answer.

There is NO WAY I would rely on Walmart to get me the 360 on time. I orderd though EB and I am taking the day off. They have never let me down on launch hardware and ship dates.

I didn't have much choice. EB is now sold out and Gamestop's packages are full of games that I don't want. I don't see many other options out there. If you have a viable alternative, please let me know.

i bought a walmart bundle on sept. 1 it was the first day they offered the bundles...i chose overnight shipping...we should have in hand on the 22nd of nov...they should ship it on the 21 of nov...

jpup, I'd do what I had to do and get the Gamestop package, and then just trade in those games for something that you want instead. That way instead of having 5 games that are so/so, I will have 5 games that I want to play, and start my next gen gaming w/ a pretty extensive Library of games.

I wasn't planning on getting one until later, but now I did.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.

I don't think its going to be as easy as simply returning these games to the store for full credit.

Welll, if not, I'm sure I can get a decent amount on Ebay for them... Either that, or tkae them to WalMart as a *gift* and you already had one... :y4:

Oh yeah, edit* I did it with the original Xbox, and Gamestop didn't have a problem exchanging the games for me. They were new and unopened... so that's why I am thinking they'll do it again.

I just got off the phone with walmart.com and they said that I would receive my bundle on 11/23. They said that the mix up was due to their customer service center being in Southern Mississippi. The bundles (according to the rep) will be shipped on time no matter what kind of delay e-mail i received. So it looks like I'll be going w/ them unless something comes up between now and 11/12, which is the last day for cancelling at Gamestop.

The games I ordered from walmart are supposed to arrive on 11/16 and the console, of course, on 11/23. The guy said to not go buy what the web site said due to their computer problems.
