It's harder (if that's possible) and has the downloads on it, the Hurricane packs. No clue on what else is new.

The original game was hard enough for me...

You can do that on the first Ninja Gaiden for Xbox.

No you can't. You could only get the crappy 8bit console versions or whatever. The arcade game in Black is much, much better. An absolute classic, I remember throwing coins into each week many years ago

Has anyone who has the game figured out what the deal is with different difficulty levels? I started a game normally, but somehow, around the 3rd level I seem to be playing an easier skill level (a lot less enemies than I seem to remember from the original version). Anyone figured this out yet?

yeah...you aren't going to unlock anything good playing through easy. Hard the only way to get the mission levels.

Exactly. So what's the deal? I have no idea where or how I switched into easy mode - is there some way to switch back? I guess I'll have to check out the Ninja Gaiden site (assuming there is one). The manual doesn't mention this.

It's another aspect Itakgi(sp) lifted from Capcom action games were if you die x amount of times in a certain time period/area or whatever it asks you to switch to easy. You probably missed this and just accidently accepted it.
