Id try the online co-op, if I could choose a friend on XBL. The option was greyed out for me.

I can't believe they give you the WHOLE CITY, allow you to level up faster than normal AND give you a whole hour to play in the demo!

Surely that has to be the biggest demo (impression wise) that has ever been released? I guess it could work for or against them if some feel it's not worth shelling out their hard earned money for a game they can basically play for free....

I'll be downloading tonight but apparently it takes almost 12 hours to download for Aussies because of the slow d/l speed.

It's just a section of the city, I encountered a blue wall in several different places on the map.

          From the Crackdown website.

For the demo we are going to let you dish out justice in about half of the Los Muertos district. You’ll also have access to the Agency headquarters too, which is where you’ll actually start the game. These two areas combined will give you a huge area to play in and explore, without of course giving the whole game away. You’ll also be able to see the rest of the world, including the Volk and Shai-Gen controlled areas - you just won’t be able to get there during the demo as there is a blueish/clear wall that prevents you from traveling into these areas. There are definitely some killer buildings and areas that I know you are going to want to explore over there, but you’ll have to wait until the full game is out to do that.
Not sure wht the IGN guys are talking about...

Already placed a preorder for this game - loving the demo. What's playable of the city seems really well designed and begs for exploration. The visual style of the game is fantastic. Not sure that killing gang members combined with the interactivity of the environment will really get old. Great physics also, combined with cool explosions. I can see trying to play this game on the higher difficulty levels just for the challenge. Powering up your agility and leaping around is extremely enjoyable. When a very early version of the game was shown a year ago I didn't see it shaping up anywhere near what the final product seems it will be.

thanks for that fella's, i thought it would be a strange decision to give THAT much of the game away. I can't wait to give it a try, sounds like it'll be a fun stress reliever.....

wasn't enjoying it that much till I started to level up.... that's when I started dropping "holy ****" chants! The game is so much fun! Time seemed to fly while playing it!

I loved the demo and will definitely be pre-ordering this game. Hell, I was having more fun seeing how high up I could get than actually taking out the bad guys. Once you're strong enough, the ability to throw cars down the road is pretty sweet too.

Only got to play for about 40 minutes last night, but I had fun. Looking forward to having more time with it, tonight. I do miss having structured missions to do. Also, does this game have waypoints, like Saints Row? Since this game is so vertical, I'm having trouble finding the objective points on the map. I'll probably do better with this, as I play more. I'll be putting in my pre-order next month.

This game was a blast. I love throwing propane tanks at people above me and then shooting the tank once it was near a person to kill them. The creativity this game allows is awesome.

If anyone was having trouble like I was, you can view the scope on your gun (if one is attached) by pressing up on the d-pad and you control zoom with the RB and LB.

has anyone been able to beat all the bosses in the alloted time limit? The most I've got so far is 3.

Ditto. Once you agility starts to increase this game is bananas. I like the variety of character types, but the whole "ethnic gangs" theme is getting old. How sick would this have been with the Matrix license?

This game definitley makes me feel like my character is slowly becoming "The One"
