HAHAHA I have a similar story. One time at this Italian restaurant my friends and I were sitting around wearing suits, ties, etc (some thing from work) and discussing Grand Theft Auto. We were yapping it up and I remember real loudly saying "There's nothing quite like the feeling of standing there in the rain at night, beating someone's brains in with a ball bat and hoping no cop comes along, then you're out there beating his brains in as well" (a Casino reference)....then we happen to notice all the old ladies around us are looking mortified and suddenly it all comes together, they think we're Mafiaso. We just all looked at each other and roared with laughter, leaving that impression. I'm sure it gave several people some good stories to tell their friends and family thinking they heard some real mobsters talking at lunch though.

Re: Crackdown (360)
Thought this was interesting when I read it.
While fighting the Northern most Los Muertos boss (can't remember his name just now), you'll combat him in his private beach complex. There is a pool on one side and a Jacuzzi on the other, while the ocean takes up another side of the tall, Miami-Florida-esque mansion. After I killed the boss, I looked down and somebody threw a grenade in the pool. Or somebody blew up a half dozen propane tanks or something, and a giant hole in the ground opened up. Initially I jumped down to grab an orb -- because, at this point, I was addicted good and proper and could not help myself. The orb was just above this hole in the ground, so I jumped down, got it, and fell through the hole. My co-op partner, a Microsoft employee who had played 25 hours of the final game, said, "Where did you go?" Followed by, "I didn't even know that hole was there." The hole led down about three stories into a massive underground tunnel. And guess what? Explosive barrels and enemies littered the place. An entirely hidden section of the game, which I may have totally missed in one play session, opened up to show me a whole new area to explore.

Re: Crackdown (360)
Finally got around to playing the demo tonight, really fun game. Definately looking forward to its release. I didn't really do any missions, just leveled up my agility and jumped around the city. :y4:Comment

Re: Crackdown (360)
It's funny. This reminds me of the 'olden' days when games would sneak up on me. I mean I didn't care at ALL about this game a week ago. Now I can't wait for the retail version.
It's just FUN. And in the end I miss that in games. I don't seem to focus on any technical thing, except that I'm having fun.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Crackdown (360)
Last year they talked about DLC and said the first thing would be like 9 more agent skins but the thing that blows my mind is that they said they wanted to add a 4th island as DLC.. Free. They also said that while thats obviously kind of a ridiculous ontaking, they were coding the game with this in mind. Now this was from about June/July 06 so idk if it got scrapped or what but I'd have to vote Best DLC Ever.Comment
