This is not GTA, your a cop in an open world.........yes, "sandbox" like GTA, but completely different.

It fell off of my radar is what changed. There has been many changes since I last saw any info on this game.

Yeah, but it's "GTA" for ease of describing it. I realize it's different, it's future, it's cell shaded, it's co-op on Live, etc. But David Jones created the world, I've been interested in it since it was announced, as it's always sounded cool. The Halo 3 beta will sell copies on top of it.
Your not kidding about this title selling for the Halo 3 beta alone.Comment

There have been criticisms leveled at the game about our not using next-gen graphics technology and suggestions that we are a cel-shaded game but nothing could be further from the truth on both counts. In fact the irony is that we actually had to use some extremely cutting edge techniques in order to achieve the look and detail we wanted given that our budget had to be spread so thinly across such a large volume of assets on screen at once. The following are just some of the highlights of this technology that we are particularly proud of:

Crackdown is on the verge of release and after going hands on with an almost final version of the game we have to say we're really impressed with it. Yes, it's an open-world game in the vein of Grand Theft Auto or Saint's Row, but Crackdown has a spirit all its own.
