Same. I preordered back in June and have only paid 50 on it.

I am still undecided on whether I want the 360 or PS3. I am a lifelong Sony gamer (had PS1 and PS2 since 1998) and only recently started playing on X-Box (Halo 2 only). For sports games, the PlayStation controller just works better for me but when I read some of these reports coming out about 360 and PS3, I am starting to lean towards the 360, at least initially.

If I do get the 360, I will definitely spring for the $399 edition (all those accessories together are way more expensive than the $100 difference). My birthday is November 11 so hopefully I get enough supplemental birthday money to put with a bit of a paycheck to get it (probably not on release day unless there are not that many 360 users in Tucson).
