I'll probably wait on a review of the game and then make my decision. I loved the first Socom!"What I would like for every football team to do that we play is to sit there and say, I hate playing against these guys." -Nick SabanComment

Re: Socom 3
I have the first SOCOM and I'm really willing to give the single player a try. All that time was spent online. I got a question for you guys though, do you get it for the online multiplayer or is the single player experience any good?http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Socom 3
I think that its a very smart idea, think about all the reasons that it helps
1. Its a mature rated game and most 17+ have a credit card/debit card
2. They ban u by your credit card so it prevents a lot of cheating
3. Cuts down on all the immature kids that arnt serious about playing the game the way it should be played"They call me the freak, cause i'm a freak of nature" - Randy Moss

Re: Socom 3
well right now at least 3/4 of all games are unranked. If Sony would of done their job and told people this it wouldn't be a problem. Guess they thought they'd lose sales, but it makes you wonder if they should of looked at other avenues like assigning serial numbers and not rent the game out.Comment

Re: Socom 3
Sony Computer Entertainment America ("SCEA") does not charge a fee to play SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs online. You can enjoy SOCOM 3 online without paying or supplying a credit card. However, please note that if you wish to verify a SOCOM 3 account, you will be required to enter a valid credit card number during the account verification process. The credit card is used for account verification purposes only, and you will not be charged to play SOCOM 3 online.
By verifying your SOCOM 3 account, you will gain access to some of the advanced features of SOCOM 3 online including:
- Clan and Clan Challenges
- Rank and Leaderboards Listings
- Friends Lists
- Autoplay
When you successfully complete the verification process for SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, SCEA will authorize your debit/credit card for the amount of $1.00. While you may see a dollar amount authorized, we do not actually charge the card (deduct any funds). Please keep in mind that your bank may still place a hold on the dollar amount according to their own policies. However, the bank will release the $1.00 back to your account within a few days and you will be able to make other purchases using the authorized amount. Please contact your bank/credit card company for details on their policies and procedures regarding authorizations.
The authorization process is a confirmation that the personal information provided to create the username in SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs is valid, and is used to prevent the creation of falsely verified accounts.
