Trading in that xbox in anticipation of 360?

Talked to someone from Gamestop today, it's worth $60 right now on trade-in. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep my xbox yet. If I do get rid of it, looks like I'll package everything thing I have for it and put up on ebay. I'll probably get a better deal there than I would Gamestop.

I really want to trade in my xbox, but its just so hard to pull the trigger. I've had so many good times with that thing, nor do I want to give up my loveable games that include my franchises.

yeah, i feel like that's a rip off. I think i'd do better packaging everying I have:

          xbox system
          2 Controller S
          NBA 2K6
          Madden 2005
          Madden 2006
          Links
MVP 2004 OR 5, whichever was the last and best
          Halo 2
          Espn College Hoops
          Action Replay

I'd hope to get at least $200

However, I'm concerned about Madden 360 and NBA 2K6 360. Are these launch titles? If not, I'd probably hold onto the xbox a lil bit longer.

Are any of you guys holding on to your current xbox games that might be compatable with the 360?

And you sold each individual item separately? That's a good idea.

I'm keeping my xbox because backwards compatability is going to be very limited and there are a bunch of great games on the xbox.

cool, i'm not worried about backwards compatibility. The two games I play the most now, Madden and 2k6 are launch titles.

Anyone know if the Halo 1 and 2 will be backward compatible?

The most popular Xbox games will be compatible, so I think it goes without saying that Halo and Halo 2 will be among those.

it'll be great when we finally get a definitive list.

                            Nope.

I have: NBA 2K6,Advent Rising,Indigo Prophecy,Bloodrayne 1 & 2,Deathrow and Total Overdose. Advent has a shot but I doubt the rest will be playable right away. Then there's the saves factor, don't know if they'll be transferable or not.
