Is there any chance of getting a 360 for people like me?

Its a month and a couple of weeks away from the launch of the 360 and I haven't preorded it yet. Is there any places I can preorder and get the system Nov 22. I live in south Florida and I am going to call a bunch of Gamestops and Eb games to find out later today. I will let people know later what I find. That way if someone lives in my area they will know. You guys should do the same and help other people out. I am pretty sure Madden will be not a problem b/c games are pressed and eaiser to duplicate unlike systems.

I'm wondering the same thing.

It's looking like I'll have to wait until sometime after Christmas at this point since Microsoft probably won't have enough of these things made for the holidays.

I orderd mine at gamecrazy.(3 weeks ago).all my eb games ,gamestops,were sold out till second shipment,after christmas,they say...but i bet if you can get in line at a bestbuy,circuit city,toys r us,walmart,.or some store like that you will be able to pick one up....

I think there will be. These guys are in the buisness of making money. They make people sweat, and get all hyped up. They will be available.

why is everyone so crazy about the 360 or ps3.my xbox is just fine.can you trade in your old systems to get a 360.

And good luck finding some place that is still taking preorders. Most places around here stopped last month. You might want to camp outside a Toys R Us or a Target when they open on launch day.

Because it's "What's Next". I really don't understand what you're asking. My NES still plays fine but the SNES was next etc..
Yes you can trade in old system for credit toward the new systems.

I pre-ordered my system from ritzcamera.com, and will be waiting in line for one at a local walmart or bestbuy or whichever place opens at midnight...

just to make sure I get one on launch..

I just called 35 gamestops and Eb games a 100 miles from my house and I must say I am pretty much screwed. Almost all the gamestops said sold out, but all the Eb games said 2nd shipment. Why would Eb games only say 2nd shipment and gamestop say no more preorders. There is 2 chances of preordering for me getting a 360 and maybe some of you guys. I said to one of the guys at EB, what about the 300 dollar system, can I preoder that one and he said good question and the anwser was yes. There is no people preordering the 300 dollar system so I can do that if I really want it and he said I could put money down towards the 300 dollar system and if I find it somehwere else i could get my money fully refunded.I also ask if the hardrive will be availble and he said yes, it wiill be in stores on the 4 or the 15th. The reason why there is 300 dollar systems still avaible is b/c the 400 dollar system is worth your money. 2nd option is somebody on the first list doesn't pick up there system 24 hours after release, then it would go down a list of 2nd shipments to get it at launch.I guess the best thing to do is preorder even if it is the 2nd shipment, then wait infront of Walmart, Best Buy etc. and hope you get can one then get your preorder money back.

Walmart and similar stores are your best chance. Also since it's being advertised now (I found out before it was advertised) Blockbuster will be getting them.

??? regular blockbuster?? or the one's that have the Video Game store inside?? Because we have none of those around me..

Have you read ALL the other posts on this? We've gone over this a million times.

I for one am NOT pre-ordering and am NOT worried. If they don't have them I'll wait but I'm betting there won't be a problem getting one. Think about all the stores that sell electronics in your area you can get them from. For me, there's:

- Walmart
- Best Buy
- Circuit City
- Conn's
- Target
- CompUSA

And even more I'm not even thinking of right now. That doesn't even include EB or Gamestop. I've never pre-ordered a game or system and have never had any trouble getting what I've wanted.

Yup it's a regular Blockbuster. They have a game section but they always have since the day they opend and there's no gamerush sign or anything like that in there at all. With the trade-ins there on games and DVDs I'm thinking they may not last too long,don't think they're taking old Xbox's though.

For me there's 2 Wal-Mart stores,Blockbuster and Zellers(Canadian equivilant of Target I think,maybe Best Buy) There's also The Source but I don't think they sell systems and based on their game selection they don't bother with that much either and Music World wich only sells games and controllers. If Nov 22nd is a week day I don't think I'll have a problem though.
