Anyone played the demo?

I realized the other day I had a demo of it in the mail that must've been sitting there for a few weeks....

Played it and it's such a great, unique, quirky game. I can't wait to get my hands on the full version...

Fans of Ico should DEF. check this one out... same great exploration feel.

I got the demo in the mail from Sony like 3 weeks ago, it's still sitting on my table, I'll try to pop it in later and check it out.

Def. give it a try... The game is completely free roaming... if you love games that just throw you in the midst of everything and leave it up to you figure out what to do and how to do it, you'll love it!

I know I do... played the same thing a few times, actually...

Be warned, you might get frustrated... if you need help, let me know....

Yeah, I played this. The most interesting thing is riding the horse! I have never played a game where you actually had to ride a horse before, it felt pretty realistic ( I don't know how I can compare it to reality because I have never ridden a horse before). But those colossus things are well...Colossus! Seems like it will be a fun game if you are in to those type of games.

Playing the demo has proven to me that Shadow of the Colossus is a worthy successor to one of my favorite games of all time, ICO.

Will most definitely pick this one up.

I absolutely LOVE this game. It's such a shame so many of you are missing out on the type of unique game creation we rarely see in this day and age.

Doom 34, Ghost Recon 2.453.... c'mon people... expand your horizons. This is why you also buy more than one game console.

Got the game a couple of days ago. I've taken down 4 of the Colossus so far. Awesome game. The graphics are amazing. Theres really no other game I can compare it too. It's basicallly just 16 huge boss battles. I have spent an average of about 50 minutes tracking down and taking down each colossus so far. Each one has a diffrent approach to defeat it. I played Ico which was made by the same people but this one just blows ico away.

Finally got a chance to rent it. Had a demo disc for it but didn't want to play it like that. Rather HDLoad it. We'll see if it makes the cut. On another note, I think I need to make some deletes off my joint already. Thanks for the heads up.

Another good game that a few of ya'll might be interested in is Genji: Dawn of the Samurai. I played that demo and it's really interesting on the real. Might HDLoad it too if I can find it somewhere.

Why are you linking to that?? That device is illegal, Do you do that to all your games?? Gosh I hope not there is nothing slick about that thing! none at all my friend. Sometimes its better to keep things to yourself, Its people like you are the reason these devices dont work half the time, and Im glad the "scene" is going farther and farther underground and out of reach by blabber I mean children like yourself.

I couldn't agree more. While I won't mention if I have HDL or not, this game is more than worthy of a purchase.

For those who are interested in knowing a little about it. I learned because someone was nice enough to show me. Keep me from buying games that aren't worth a purchase compared to those that are. Just because I have it doesn't mean I'm going to use it to the point that I don't support developers. Heck, if I like it, I'll buy it. If not, I don't. HDLoader is usually for those games my friends have that I'd like to sit and try. Don't have enough time to rent. As a grown man, I could care less. The scene is going further but I do have respect for it. Hey, if you don't like the post, then why not just overlook it. Anyone don't like it, overlook it. I believe in helping the fellow man if that includes myself.

What the hell is ICO? Meant to ask about that but it always slips my mind. People at Gamespot were clueless. Were trying to figure out what the abbreviation was.
