I picked up Shadow of the Colossus for the ps2 today and I am loving it so far. I've beaten the first 3 colossi.
The game has a very artistic feel to it and is great fun. Even with little story telling, it draws you in.
If you don't know, basically it is 16 or so "boss" fights against gigantic creatures that you need to climb up to get to weak spots. It's sort of a puzzle game in that you have to figure out how to even get on these giant things to take them down. Then you have to find ways to crawl up and around the colossi and take them down.
A great original and creative game with maybe one flaw, it will probably be too short with 16 fights. A definite must rent IMO. It's a very unique experience.
