A question about video cards for laptops

This one goes out to all the PC gurus out there.

I have a laptop that is about 2 years old, with a 32MB video card.

I have updated the RAM to 1GB and have a Pentium 4 2.6 GHz or something, pretty powerful.

I think I would like to upgrade my video card so I can play games like Civ IV(requires 64MB card) and the like.

I was wondering how feasible it would be for me to replace the card myself? Is it something I would need a tech to do?

I've tried to search for video cards at BestBuy.com and CompUSA.com but I can't find any for laptops. I have a NVIDIA card now and their mobile model is called GO.

Any tips would really be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Most laptops, and I have no clue about yours, but most have the videocard built into the motherboards. I know the new Dell high end system's don't. But if it's built into the motherboard, there's nothing you can really do.

I would check in your manual. With it being 2 years old it might be able to upgrade. If it is soldered to the board, you basicly have to get a new laptop.

On another note, you might be able to play the game with the card, I know I was able to play games on my old laptop that didn't meet the video card specs.
