well at one point I had my Xbox preorder at ebagmes a while ago, and I was number 6 on the first shipment list, then like an idiot I said I would wait before I bought the 360, now that I really wanted it again, I preorder and paid in full again at ebgames on OCT 1, now I'm number 80 on the list and the guy tells me that I'll have to wait for the second shipment. So anyway I pissed and I think I may have to go and wait online at bestbuy for it, I really don't want to do this, but If I want it bad enough i just may have to do this. After reading this artile I'm think maybe my ebagmes will get enough shipments in the cover my order, anyway wh knows.

yeah it's weird, the guy told me since I'm number 80 I I'm on the second shipment. I mean a big place like ebgames you would think they would get like at least 100 systems in. Anyway, Heel what city does your freind live in?

The closer we get to release time, the stores have a better handle of what their inventory is going to be come d-day!

the ebagmes where I have it preordered keep telling me we won't know how many we will have until they come into the store, wich I believe is a crock.

Store Managers or District Supers I'm guessing have to actually order shipments. No way is Microsoft going to just randomly ship stuff to different stores.

Didn't think it was broken down like that but I was pretty sure that M$ had themselves a good stack that they already had set. I remember seeing that article on Gamespot talking about 3 companies who were going to garauntee that they were making boxes in order to keep production balanced with demand. Quite interested to see how major the shopping will be come launch. Some people don't know this so it'll definitely be interesting.......

I preorderd last thursday at Blockbuster and am guaranteed mine on launch day. Then again they weren't advertising the preorders.
