I can tell you this, your going to need a copy of Halo 2 to play Halo 2 on the Xbox 360, just like you need a copy of Halo 2 to Play it on the Xbox.

I would say keep your Halo 2, if you still want to play it, and in 720p. Might have a few more enhancements too.

Last I heard only 3 games are b/c Halo 1, Halo 2, and Fable. I would hope though after several months that Microsoft and ATi would have more than 3 games successfully emulated.

No bungie said after the last update that there would be nothing new like maps or anything

the only difference..is the HD you can get with it, and since you wont be able to play people from the original xbox playing halo2..i dont think theres a reason to hold onto it

the next gen games will blow halo out of the water

not true, if I'm playing halo 2 on my 360 and you're playing halo 2 on ur regular xbox, we will be able to play together. I remember reading that, I think Major Nelson said it in one of his podcasts.

ya live and live 360 are running on the same server.

technically you are on live 360 right now, but since you dont have a 360, you cant take advantage of it.

thats why live was down for 2 days last week

You can also link a 360 to a xbox with the link cable and play Halo 2 that way.
