    Dookie,

Stop being a jackass and put it on Ebay, j/k. EB is only gonna give you 60 bucks. You could put a broken Xbox on Ebay and get 55. Do the math.

How are you guys packaging your systems? Are there FedEx/UPS boxes that are big enough to hold the system and games? Are you guys putting bubble-wrap or something in there? I'm thinking of Ebaying my xbox, as well.

Starting auctions at 50 dollars IS DUMB!!! Seriously fellas, anyone who has been on eBay 3 years or more knows that things listed properly don't get undersold. I have sold anything from timeshares to xbox games to golf clubs. Starting price for each 99 cents.

Use FedEx or UPS they are cheapest + easiest to track and insure. If you don't have the original carton use bubble wrap. At least 3 layers of 1" thick. If you have less than that and it gets damaged and you try to file a claim UPS/FedEx will tell you no way are they paying the insurance. If you let a UPS Store pack it they will guarantee safe arrival and if its damaged they will file the claim for you.

it's not a lot of trouble, once you list it, you just wait. again, I was surprised mine sold so quickly. I'm disappointed that I won't have mine beyound this week. I was going to pack it up for shippment in the morning, but i've never sold anything for this amount so I just went ahead and transferred the funds from my paypal account to my bank account. I'm going to wait until that hits my account before I ship it.

I'm planning to just go to the UPS Store and let them do it. I called them while at work to make sure that they will package it for me.

The guy who bought mine has replied me since I sent the invoice for the info(pricing, my adress since I want a money order). So I'm giving him till thursday to tell me when he plans to send the check, or if he already did so, or I'm relisting it. I think I'll go with a paypal payment next time.

I'm guessing you meant "Hasn't replied"

Before you relist you need to do the whole contact member stuff and you can get his phone number. And give him AT LEAST 4 - 7 days to pay. Don't be a jagbag.

                    Bryan,

Why is it dumb? I really dont see the difference in starting it at 1 dollar or at 100 other than at 100, I'm guaranteeing that my auction will go for the minimum amount I want. Give me a reason and I will change the amount of my auction.

He has zero feedback. As soon as I saw he bought it, I was a little weery. I told him, just tell me when you're going to send the check and that's all. I just need to know that he's a serious buyer, not some douchebag.

Because he's from the UK, I said that I'd give at least 2 weeks for the check to arrive, but I need to know if he's even going to send it. I find it a little suspicious that he hasn't replied me since I sent the unvoice. We're talking about a lot of money. This isn't some poster I'm selling. I would think that he would reply by now, or at least I would.

I dont' want you to change it. But for me where I am trying to squeeze every dollar I can out of selling something ... eBay charges less to start something at 99 cents.

However, if a couple bucks is no big deal and the 100 start is a good piece of mind for you, by all means go for it

WOAH! If he is from the UK DONT' TAKE A PERSONAL CHECK OR UK MONEY ORDER. When I sell to people overseas it is paypal or bust. However, one guy sent me a US Money Order via Western Union (got the check today) so that was cool w/ me too. BUt I would never take a check from a UK bank b/c you may have trouble cashing it here.
