well just plunked down a preorder for it (traded in a couple of games & owe about $3) at the Gamestop by me - they told me they would get it the afternoon tomorrow .. so one more roadtrip...

I got this preordered. its been out in the uk and austrailia for a couple of weeks and the few reviews i read have been very good. i think it will split gamers because the pace of play is very slow and one shot kills are normal. this game on the pc was used as a training simulator for a few militaries around the world.

I picked it up today ( I know guys! LOL) I like it, very slow, more dilberate. Much slower than other shooters, reminds me of the first Ghost Recon. Graphics...utter crap. But other than that, the game is very good. Take Battlefield 2 and combine it with Ghost Recon, and you have the love child, Operation Flashpoint.

I played the heck out of it on PC a couple of years ago. It was a ton of fun back then, especially multiplayer. I couldn't imagine this game on Live. Is this pretty much the same game with a different theatre of war?

It says 14 online, but I saw a server for 32 people..so who knows.

I know Holic..LOL But I've wanted this game forever and forgot it was even coming out!

the online setup is strange. Don't really understand how it's setup.

It's good to finally see a good single player squad shooter on a console. Hasn't happened since the early ghost recon.
