My favorite Mario game would have to be Mario Kart 64, that game was so amazing when the 64 first came out.

Mario is classic. Super Mario Brothers All Stars for Super nintendo was probably the best because they all came in one game with enhanced graphics.

Re: Would Mario DIE already
I nearly fell and died of laughter after reading your post, lol.Originally posted by GraphikChrist!! Can Nintendo pimp this dude anymore? After seeing a commercial for Mario Party 7 I could'nt help but wonder how many freaking games they've made with Mario. It has to be more than the entire library of the Dreamcast. More than the number of games EA has pumped out over the last 10 years. Does anyone in this forum still buy games based on Mario? If you do, can I smack you? Its gotten to the point where its impossible for Nintendo to create another spokeperson/character for they're company. If they came up with another character, I think the entire continent of Asia would combust into flames.
All in all, what was your favorite Mario themed game? I say Mario 64 but dammit, that was 10 years ago. Will he die already!!!!!! For some stange reason I can see my kids kids still playing Mario games. He'll eventually become the president of the world and virtually Mario-tize any and every product of modern life. I F*(*&&#* hate Mario!! That multi-talented sombitch.
Yes, I wish Nintendo would stop making any more Mario spinoffs, but don't ask for the poor guy to die. Every company's gotta have an icon to identify with, and Mario is synonymous with Nintendo. It just wouldn't make sense to identify Nintendo with anything else.
I can't remember the last time I played a Mario game. Must be Super Mario something on the (S?)NES.Comment

Re: Would Mario DIE already
It wasn't until now that I realized that Mario has been a part of every gaming genre in the world.
He's been a figher ala Street Fighter.
He's been an RPG hero ala Final Fantasy.
He's been a platformer (obvious).
He's been a sports star (where's Mario Basketball?)
He's been lost.
He's been in a racer ala Ridge Racer.
He's been in a multiplayer party game.
