Atleast as far as I can remember. I bought 64,dreamcast,ps2,xbox all on launch.

Let me tell you those launch lineups didnt even compare to what the 360 is offering. 64 had mario 64 forgot what else, dreamcast was pretty solid i belive power stone, some 2k sports games, ps2....um i cant even remeber i think just teken 2 and madden everyhting else sucked I remember renting this surfing game because not many games were out, xbox well halo 1 and pgr but besides that it sucked.

As for 360 they will launch with PDZ should be a killer pfz, cod 2 one of the best looking war fps ever and it plays great, kameo looks intersting good platformer, pgr 3 enough said there, nba 2k6 wow, madden, King Kong and im sure im missing a few good ones. That is quite a launch lineup! I cant think of a system that has had a better launch? Need less to say im pumped.

64 had Mario and Waverace 64, there was one more but can't remember what it was. Talk about a terrible launch, good thing Mario could keep you busy for months.

I didn't really follow the PS2 or xbox launches, but the 360 launch looks really nice. Microsoft really got their stuff straight for this, a lot of titles available, a ton of variety and a lot of eye candy which is really what launch titles are suppossed to be.

EDIT: It was Pilotwings 64. Actually a pretty fun game, much better than Waverace

I will have to agree with you. There are atleast 6 games I am looking to buy at launch. I don't think that I have ever had that many games on my mind before any other launch. This launch might not have a Mario or Halo to kick start the system, but damn it has a ton of great games.

BTW, I am looking to get PGR3, NBA 2k6, COD2, PDZ, Kameo, NHL 2k6, and maybe Madden.

All I remember from the Xbox lauch titles was Fever. That was the game I bought with my Xbox. I loved it at the time.

I couldn't said it better. There's at least six games at launch that I'd buy but can't afford it so I have to decide wisely. I can't remember having that much trouble during any other launch.

I just don't see how these games do anything but PUT A HOLE IN YOUR WALLET!!

I've already spent way too much money on stuff for the 360 and I have a feeling it will continue to grow slightly right up until launch. Then I think I will be good until Jan when I get CHoops and then in Feb when I get Oblivion and GRAW.
My wifes been pretty good about it. She even gave me a pretty good blanket for the couch a couple of nights

It really sucks there are no screws on the xbox for us serious modders, I dont just want to be able to mod a lame faceplate....

I thought the Xbox lineup was horrible, when looking back on it.

I think I purchased Max Payne, but that's not a launch title I'd brag about.

Yeah the XBOX launch wasn't very good. I got halo, Fever and Oddworld.
Pretty weak.
