How many 360's is your Best Buy getting?

I did the search which tells you how many units each best buy is getting thanks to the guy on here who found it. The two Best Buys near me are gettin 120 and 112(south florida). I acutally saw one Best Buy that is expected to get 226 ( wow). It's amazing that a store like Eb & Gamestop that only deals with video games in only getting a small amount and best buy is blowing them out the door with units.

Tell everyone where you live and how many 360's your store is expected to get?

I am very skeptical about this info. I think it might be somewhat true, but to the extent of the 3 month target perios MS is aiming for and not all on launch night.

I am gonna call my EB games I pre-order from and say to them, why a specialized video game store like yourself is getting screwed out of 360's. I would love to hear there response.They will probaly say nobody getting alot of them , then I would tell him check out this link I got that tells you how many 360's Besy buy getting. That will make them pissed b/c they lost my 400 dollars.

Actually EB is not getting screwed. I went back and did the math and Best Buy is getting roughly 42,000. Thats only 2000 more than EB. But EB has some 2000 stores I think while Best Buy has just under 800(773 I think) So that is why Best Buy is averaging out higher. Wal-Mart on the other hand has roughly 3600 stores. That is why they are going to avg 6-12 units a store(I believe that number is pro only). Gamestop is getting just under 50,000 units I belive, but again, they have a little over 2100 stores. So in reality, no one is getting screwed on an allocation standpoint, just the less stores mean more untis for each one.

Good point, but you would think a video game store will have alot more then other stores.

Microsoft informed the shareholders that they will deliver approximately 1,098,200 units of Xbox 360 for the US launch on November 22, and 20% are Core Systems. Most of the shipment will be delivered to Walmart and Best Buy branches, due to the fact that they are the official sponsors for launch. Microsoft expects to sell 3 million units of Xbox 360 in the first 3 months.

- Microsoft is planning to ship 500,000 units of Xbox 360 to UK for the launch on December 2.
