Re: Is this true?
I hate wireless controllers and will not use the one that comes with the system, I will leave that for anyone who wants to play against me....
Anyone know if you can plug a USB hub into the 360 and use 4 wired controllers then??PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: Is this true?
There are 3 USB ports.Originally posted by fishepaNot sure, I guess it depends on how many USB ports the 360 has.
From IGN:
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller: $49.99 Taking note of the popularity of Nintendo's WaveBird, Microsoft's wireless controller is a lightweight, well-crafted, ergonomically designed tool. It's bundled with the Premium package, sold separately from the Core package. What are the biggest changes over the Xbox controller? The black and white buttons have been moved to the left and right bumpers, which sit directly above the left and right triggers. And it's wireless. The controller features two analog sticks and a Dpad, which are placed in the same positions they were in the previous Xbox controller, a start and back button, and the new Xbox 360 Guide button, which sits in the top-center portion of the controller. The Xbox 360 Guide Button can pull up the new GamerCard menu screen at any time, and it's illuminated. It blinks when friends send messages or when batteries in the controller run low. In that case, players have the option to plug in the controller and continue playing while the battery recharges. It features an optional removable battery pack (or two AA batteries). The wireless controller is easily the most sophisticated wireless controller on the market. It uses "frequency-hopping spread spectrum" a thousand times a second or so, changing frequencies, cutting down drastically on the amount of interference you might encounter from other devices in your house. It's already a tried-and-true system with an extended range of 30 feet in any direction. Headsets connect directly into the audio jack on the controller, eliminating the need for Xbox communicators.
Xbox 360 Wired Controller: $39.99 Microsoft's wired controller is exactly the same in design as the wireless controller: it's lightweight, well-crafted, and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort. It's bundled with the Core package, and sold separately from the Premium package. The console offers three USB ports, all of which can connect to wired controllers. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Is this true?
I hate them too.
Game 7,Stanley Cup finals,3rd OT,Heatly gets the breakaway! Dekes left, dekes right....keeps going right runs into the boards and loses the puck because the batteries ran out. Datsyuk takes it and scores,Red Wings win the cup instead of the Sens cause you're out of batteries.
or how about...
Super Bowl 1 second left, down 95-93,going for the game winning FG press A to start the kick meter and someone walks in front of you....the kick slowly rolls across the ground instead of through the uprights.Comment

Re: Is this true?
You must have a crappy controller then because my controller(logitech) can work through walls and nothing happens if somebody walks in front of it. And with the battery thing, the controller should tell you when the batteries are getting low.Originally posted by gohI hate them too.
