I was curious how one of the 3 walmarts near my house was doing the launch. I called and talked to the lady in the electronics dept. and ask her when xbox 360 comes, b/c I wanted to see if she knows whats going on and she did. She said it comes out the 22nd, but they will be handing out tickets at 10pm on the 21st then you have to be there to buy it at 12 and if you are not there the next person will take your spot. I said are you just handing out tickets to anyone or just the amount of units you have and she said we are just handing out tickets for what we have in stock. You guys should call your Walmarts to find out, even thought she said most 24hr Walmarts are doing this. One thing I forgot to ask her was are they gonna hand out diffrent tickets for the core and premium, but I forgot. My luck is that I would get a ticket and there would only be cores left.

My Sis is a manager at one in Palmdale, CA. She tole me they wont be having a line, its first come first serve, and they only have 36 units

Yeah this makes little sense. If she is the manager and doesn't want a fight she should let people who show up early start a line

Wow k-mart is actually gonna have 360's at launch. They use to be so big near me, but with all the super Walmarts that open up over the years it died out, so maybe it would be a good place to get it. I just don't think they are gonna get alot of them.

I got to try and call my walmart back to see if I can find out how many units they are getting. That way I can tell by how many people are there at launch if I am gonna get a 360. Do you think Walmart will give me that info?

I could call him and get some info out of him.I would ask to talk to his manager and say how can your employess not know about this when it is advertised in your store. I just tried calling mine and nobody anwsered 954-757-0331

I agree. I honestly think some stores will see fistfights. If not trying to be the first to grab one inside the store, but also outside.

the one near me in the east side of cincinnati says that they are forming a line,around 10 pm est...but she says"and i quote" better get here before then cuz this damn phone has been ringing for a week about this".....it will form inside she thinks...and she said they have between 50-60 units...

I'll stay away from those places. I think that will get ugly. Buyers when you go to the wal marts, targets, stores like that I would watch your step when you get in the parking lots. Heck If I were you I'd have your cell ready and call your ride to be ready at the door!!!!!!!!!!
