Ipod users: You cannot transfer songs to the XB 360.
You have to burn your CD's
Sadly, it's not possible to rip music from any mp3 player and store it on your hard drive, most likely due to copywrite concerns. If you really want your favorite playlists on your 360 so you can make a few custom soundtracks, simply burn a CD. Just like on the current Xbox, you can rip songs from CDs and play them to your heart's content.Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.Tags: None -

So, can I plug my iPod in, play a game, and select the songs from my iPod?
I'm confused..
Also, can you burn songs you've downloaded from iTunes onto a CD?Blind to this impending fate

That, right there (burning a CD), is the way around the protected AAC files you get from the iTunes Music Store.
purchase (protected) -> burn CD -> re-rip to AAC or mp3 (non-protected)
It's kind of a clumsy process, but it works.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

Originally posted by dbethYes, you can burn a selected playlist up to 7 times from iTunes protected AAC files. After that, you have to switch the order to get 7 more.

but, you can still burn a CD in iTunes like any other program. yeah, you do lose sound quality in the re-rip, but the encoding to CD is just like the rest.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77
