XBOX 360 to the monitor Question....

I need help understanding what the hell I'm going to do on the real in dealing with the VGA adapter and the XBOX 360. I don't want to buy an extra thing if I don't know how I'm going to use it in the first place. I'm trying to figure out how I'll be able to play my XBOX 360 using

this from here to connect to a computer monitor that's a CRT, I believe from Dell, with a wire coming out for the back? I see how that VGA is suppose to go into the XBOX 360 with that end. The second hole from the top going horizontal I would naturally assume. However, the other end of the VGA looks like the cable cord coming from the monitor at my house. Maybe I'm missing something. I am assuming that the VGA has an end that's a "reciever" or a female end that would "take" the prong spikes from the monitor into itself and then transform the data through the monitor so I can see it, correct? I'm just trying to find out what the other end of the VGA looks like. Please don't feel me to be too ******** since I usually game on a normal television but I gotta see these games in their true beauty one way or another.

P.S.-Try to hook me up with an answer sometime before the launch if ya'll have time. If not, I guess I'll have to wait.

The VGA cable has a male end, so if your monitor has a male end, then you will need this too.

The problem is, do you really want to sit at your computer desk and play games? you end up spending close to 60 bills for all that stuff. You can get an hdtv pretty cheap now a days, doesnt have to be a huge 65" one. You can get a 27" hdtv around 300-400 bones. So, if you save up for a month or two, or buy a few less games at launch, you can have yourslef a nice new HDTV to rock out to. But thats just me, I hate being at my desk more than i have to

You can get one i ebay for around 290, just looking. So, 15-19" monitor, or 30" HDTV. If you can afford it, its a no brainer.

Thing is that I have a no money to fork out like that. I gotta put out some money out for my school. I gotta fork over $500 right now. I'm not getting enough money to hold me over like that. I do know that eventually I will get that. I'm planning on putting my money towards a top of the line computer before I buy a HDTV. For $2000, I could get a tight monitor and great PC to game with. Rather do that. Still, I'm too "young" to be worried about an HDTV. I'm sure that I'll eventually get one. Heck, if I could, I'd be pushing for a projector instead. Still, I'm waiting though. We'll see. Thanks for the info FLAWLESS
