Best BEST BUY Stand In Line Start Time

They open at their regular time of 9 AM, Tuesday Nov 22nd for XBOX 360.
When I say best time I mean the optimum time that you think you can get one spending as few hours in line as possible. They are reported to have 60-70 units.

They will be opening at 8 am they said, and said people will start camping out around 5-6am

I don't know why you would need to be there any earlier than 5:30. At least I hope that's the case.

I called one inmy area and they are doing something at 630 am..passes out tickets and when all tickets are gone,they will allow 3 at a time to enter store to piclk out games ,accessories..then from there give ticket to cashier,and they will bundle it together for you and at 9am you pick your goodies up and run home and play some 360...now how many may be there? it may be a lot may be a few?...i hope it stays a cold as tonight on monday nite /tues morning(17 degrees) that will cut down on some folks thus giving me a shot if i strike out at walmart on monday nite,sams on tues morning..wish me luck..... I would say about 430 am..you should be good,but you knoe there are some folks livingat home,no job having sponging off mom and dad...and they may stay all night from monday nite on......

Where do you live, how many consoles is your Best Buy getting, etc, etc.

I would seriously consider lining up before 5 am, but it depends on how bad you want one. I also would strongly consider going to a diferent store. Best Buy is a magnet for a lot of people on launches like this. The Best Buy here had over 300 people in line by the time they opened in the morning when the PS2 came out. I think the demand will be slightly less for the 360, but no one can really tell for sure yet.

If you insist on a Best Buy, I would go to one in a low income area if you don't plan on going early. If you are down to go to another store, I would check out K Mart, Sams Club/Costco, Sears and any other place you can think of that doesn't automatically come to everyone's mind like BB does. BB is getting more consoles on average per store than anyone else, but that doesn't mean diddly poo if more people are gonna be there lined up.

I wouldn't consider getting the Core system, but that's just me. Some other store is bound to have a Premium if you come up empty at your first choice place.

Got at Midnight if you can.

I know the demend might not be as high as for the PS2, but after I got my launch PS2 I drove by Best Buy and there was a good 50 people or so there at Midnight and about 20 at Circuit City.

I'm heading to mine at like...5am, and that's after checking other stores(Target, namely) at Midnight, and maybe Wal-mart as well.

They said they would open at 8 in my area and hand out tix at 7. Im gonna do the Wal-Mart thing the night before (prob get there about 6:30-7) and go straight from the midnight launch to Best Buy. So i prob will be getting there anywhere from midnight to 1

I never bought a system at launch except for this time. When you guys bought the Ps2 at launch was there alot of people waiting and what time where people waiting? I just want to be sure I get one. I had a dream the other night that I was in Walmart ( I think) and nobody was waiting then when i came back there was only cores. I know I got some issues, but I really want this system and I hope my dream isn't a sign.

Jets..in my city I got to Wal-Mart at 530 pm and was number 33 in line out of 36 systems.

For the PS2, I was in line at 930 for a midnight release, I was number 14 of 17. Small town.
