Did TRU just do pre-orders or can you still go in and buy one on first come first serve basis once their doors open?

The Walmart by my house will be packed. There is three large suburban cities right around it with a total of 200,000 people in this area. I called a Walmart about 20 miles from me and the city there has a population of 8,000 and is a really rural area. They are getting in 60-75 the guy said so I might take a look there. I have one reserved at GS and one coming in tomorrow from Circuit City but it's core and I don't know when I'll get my GS one so I'm locking onto stores in more rural areas.

I don't know mine are idiots. They told me they only had 4 systems and they were pre ordered and sold out in 15 minutes. 4 systems, that's unbelievable.

i wouldve gone to camping section, and got a sleeping bag, a chair, and then to the towel area and got some pillows

Looks like Sterling BB is out, now. A co-worker called me from the store and said that they handed out "line" tickets. There are no more of those tickets available. She said that closer to midnight, they will hand out a second batch of tickets to denote whether you get a premium or core system. And here I thought I was going to be good if I got to Best Buy at 7 tonight.

You're in Clermont and they're lining up already? Damn, this isn't looking good. I'm in Orlando and figured I'd just go up to the 24-hr Walmart in Apopka aorund 10. I actually considered driving out to a smaller city like yours because there would be less demand. I guess I was wrong.

My Wal-Mart (Rt. 27 and 192) is even worse because we get all of the tourists from Disney that come over, especially the Brits. When I got the PSP at launch, they had about 40 units and I swear at least 1/3 of the purchasers were not from around here. Most of them were on holiday and were taking the system back overseas because they were getting the system later than the US.

I really hope they do! But after reading about all these lines, it's kinda sad b/c I wanted to play tonight. Looks like TRU in the morning for me for that overpriced bundle. ugh.
