    bought seperately

If we have to buy a core 360, can everything be bought seperately later on? I know we will take a little bit of a hit to buy seperately but just in last case scenario. Ex we stand in line for hours only to have the worker say all we have left are core systems.

Yes, it is the same system. The only difference is the premium has the silver xbox 360 logo where you put the disk in.

i had to go this route. i cancelled my preorder on sunday because they said i wouldn't be able to get a premium on time. but when i was there, they mentioned that they got another core. i preordered it then and the hard drive as well. i figured it beats standing in line forever. plus how many people that preordered two days before the system drops will be able to get one? funny part is a guy who heard me get a core tried to get one afterwards and they said, "nope, he got the last one."

Yes but adding the HD alone will put you at the $400 mark. Not to mention you miss out on the face plate (no big deal $15), HD cables ($40), wireless controller ($50), universal remote ($30) or charger ($20), don't remember which one and all the X Box Live stuff.

That $100 extra for the premium is really worth it but if you can't get it, you can't get it.

I was just checking in case I had to go this route. I don't want to stand in line only to get up to the front and they tell me only core is left. So I was just seeing if I had to I could go that route.
