Last Thursday I was taking my PS2 into EB to trade it in for credit towards a pre-sale for the PS3 (when those became available). I got there and was like 3rd inline. First guy finished and the guy in front of me asked if they had any premium 360's and she said yes she did and only one left. I was pissed. Damn if I would have been there sooner I might have gotten one. SO he finishes and I am going through my trade in process and decide to ask if they have any for just a shot in the dark. She said no but then thought for a moment and said she might have one. Apparently some guy had not been in to pick up his pre-order that they had called him about 3 weeks ago. So she said it was for sale and man I lucked out and said hell yeah! Acutally works better for me after going through 4 PS2's breaking on me with very light game play (1 hour a day at the most) so hopefuly this baby lasts longer than the average PS2. Got the warranty of course. Lucky me.

when i picked up my launch system from ebgames i paid the $40 for the one year warranty. my system is starting to act funny now so my question is for anyone who has dealt with eb's warranty policy in the past; is it as simple as taking your system in and getting a new one? the guy when i purchased the warranty said that i could take the system home and throw it against the wall and bring it back and exchange it for a new one if i wanted. hopefully it can hold on until they have the system readily in stock so i can go in and exchange it! thanks

they are very good about honoring warranties (at least my local eb is)

So long as they have another system to give you they will swap it out. Only problem is you'll have to purchase a new warranty.

Alright guys I just bought a 360,first question do I need my old xbox while I recover my XBL account for the 360?Also,I haven't got a game yet,I was thinkin NBA2k6,and COD2,but PGR 3 is also highly regarded,goodchoices?I can only get two right now ,and I'm gonna use some other games for trade in value.Also when I recover my XBL account for my 360,can I change my gamertag?(I wanna add the "a" in Mrcbone)

my tracker program said sears.com had some and I quickly ordered one. It shipped out today. It was a bundle that came with PGR3, play and charge and 1 extra controller.

I got par for everything on marble blast up to the scaffold level which is 46 I think. I tried lvl 60 and I dont think I will ever be able to finish that one let alone par it.

I stopped into the WalMart supercenter before work this morning (6:45 am) to pick up a reem of paper which required me to walk by electronics. Just out of habit I still look in the glass case for a 360 even though I got one about two weeks ago. They just put 4 premiums into the case. I know I don't need another one, but the temptation to turn a few bucks profit was too much to pass up, so I went in to spend only $5, but spent $405 plus tax.

So basically, anyone can still get lucky without using the Best Buy or Circuit City tracker program and find them at WalMart, Target, etc. on a random basis. I think this will start becoming more and more common this month as production continues to increase. Any OSers out there still looking for a premium?
