After playing last nite at my brothers house I can definetley say I am dissapointed. the games are all mostly remakes, I didnt see nothing new. I keep hearing people say that the launch games usually arent any good but I say blah to that. I usually do buy 2 systems though so I am lucky, I really dont think I can go without my Metal Gear Solid, GTA and Zone of the Enders though. I sure hope that Microsoft can put out a good Platformer this time around as I didnt see a single one on the XBox like the other 2 consoles. Platformers, First Party games and RPGs are this systems weak spots.

I've played for about 2 hours. First off, I love the system itself. The interfaces are very slick and the wireless controller is the bomb. I'm playing on a standard TV with component inputs. The games look good, but I do want to get an HDTV to really bring out the graphical leap.

I tried Perfect Dark Zero first and didn't finish the first level (tried playing on the hardest avaible difficulty). It's annoying having so few checkpoints, but the game is fun. I then played a half of Madden. It's hard to comment on it, because I need to get comfortable with the controls. I also need a zoomed out camara view. The default is way too close. I'm taking a break now and will fire up Kameo, later.

All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I sure hope that Microsoft can put out a good Platformer this time around as I didnt see a single one on the XBox like the other 2 consoles.

I didnt play any of the other 5 games that i bought (PDZ, Tiger, NHL2k, Kameo, Gun)...but that gives me somethin to look forward to when i get home this evening

I've been playing COD2 for about an hour and it looks fantastic. I'm playing on a regular TV. Obviously it would look better on an HDTV, but I'm satisfied.

Well, I've been playing 2k6 on a standard 32" TV, and I think it looks excellent. I'm going to hook it up to the 65" HD TV later on to see how it looks.

Is anyone else's console extremely loud? This thing sounds like a Jet plane or something. But it is great. Extremely sleek, controllers are awesome, and overall, an excellent system. I just hope I can get one for myself in the near future

Anyone else getting lag with the wireless controller, I didnt notice it right away, I can however now notice a split second difference as I am getting used to the console, makes me wonder if they will be selling wired controllers. Gosh I hope so cause games like madden and Nba Live need that split second response otherwise your shooting will be off touch and you will rim every shot.

Standard 32 inch here and it looks great. I can only imagine how beautiful it is with an HDTV.

I've never owned or used a wireless controller before but after putting some time with it today I can never go back. It feels great. A big thumbs up for the controller. A great button layout as well.
