personally i couldnt part with it unless it was selling at like 2 grand. yeah i know. i have a reserved bundle at tru but im going to be waiting in line 2 attempt to get one to sell. making a +two hundred dollar profit for waiting in line for 9-10 hrs isnt bad for me.

first advice is... sell quick and sell fast... once tomorrow afternoon hits, the market will be flooded, and for awhile, profits will hit 100-160 above retail imo. with fees and shipping, its about 100... just ask if thats all worth your time/

I feel sorry for all the little kids that are going to ball their eyes out when their Mommy and Daddy can't find a 360 because they're all sold out.

And then you have a bunch of people buying extras just so they make a buck or two.

Buying extra 360's for the sole purpose of selling them for a profit is like concert/sporting event scalpers that scoop up extra tickets just to sell them for a profit.

I understand it's supply & demand but a part of me morally disagrees with what some of you guys are going to do.

Well it is wrong but its not like we put them on there Buy Now $1000! I put them at the break even price and if someone believes it is worth more to them than that than let it be so. Either way someone will get it. Also not like this is a sure thing, its a risk because what if this rumor isn't true and there are X Boxs floating everywhere? Not likely to happen but can't cancel anything out.

It would be awfully tempting if I walk out of TRU and someone offers me an extra $200 or more in cash on the spot. I'd probably decline, though, because I've waited long enough for this thing.

I was just checking out the ebay scene to see how much people are paying, and it out of control. It is obvious that sellers are creating duplicate accounts to bump up their own sells. For example, there is one guy selling 4 XBox 360s. Well the high bidder on all four is the same bidder that took the price up to $1000 each. Also, I think you can expect a lot of these XBox 360 sells to go unpaid for. I think people are going through eBay and bidding on these units just to increase the price with no intention of paying. I think it will probably calm down by the weekend, but right now it is crazy. The bidders definitely have the upper hand, because ebay can't really make a bidder pay for the item. On the other hand, it is much harder for a seller to cheat a bidder after money has changed hands.
