Find a K-Mart or a Sears. Who goes to to Sears for anything? Which means perfect spot to pick up system.

Sears is where I picked up NCAA 06 the Saturday prior to its actual release date. They may even sell you a system...

I'm pretty sure I can go cop one at my Wal-Mart. I live in a small-medium size town, and we have 3 Wal-Marts within a 20 miles distance of each other. The one in my town is the newest and gets the least crowd. I went there the other night and saw all the games, I'm sure I could get the system tonight, but something is telling me to wait.

I have the money to spend, but thinking about dorpping $520 for a system and two games that arent stellar just isnt something I think I'll do.

Its only 7 out in california and there is already close to 40 or 50 people at best buy, about 25 people at target and there was like 3 at circit city. So I could score one if I run out right now and get in line. but screw that, no way I'm waiting for like 11 hours for this thing.

I didn't even bother trying BB or Walmart. Just drove by the local SuperTarget at around 9 pm EST. There were already 20 people waiting for what I imagine is a small supply of units. It's raining here and they were all sitting outside (the store closes at 10:00 pm). They'll be sitting there in the rain until 6 am.

Part of me feels bad for 'em. The other part of me is glad that it's raining - I pre-ordered and paid in full back in June, and then my Gamestop only got 12 units (I guess so that the Targets and Walmarts and Best Buys could sell far more). So if they're gonna get the 360 way before me, they should have to earn it. But then I just feel bad again. Oh well, if that's what they want to do. I want a 360 and all, but that's ridiculous.

The Best Buys somewhat near my house already have about 35 people in line.

Its only 7pm central time. This just sucks.

it's only a video game system. Just wait a little and you'll get it - it'll be just the same as everyone elses too.

my walmart had a raffle over 200+people in line. winners are announced at midnight, so wish me luck. only 17 xboxs and only 5 are premium.

I just picked up my girl from work, I have two bestbuy's in my area, right down the street from eachother, and both had a least 50 at each bestbuy, it's crazy, and it's raining hard out here in NY. Thank god I have my TRU bundle, there no need to camp out for it at TRU.

I called the local best buy at at 9 and they already had 15 people waiting in line for a 9am opening. No way am I waiting 12 hours in the rain for this thing.

I had a tru bundle pre-ordered which I've thought for the last two weeks would be my back up. Not any more... I'll be at tru first thing tomorrow to pick it up...

and one for the conspiracy theorists... I can't believe people are willing to wait for twelve hours in the rain. Can it be that M$ paid people off to do this to create an even bigger buzz? Ridiculous, I know but...
