Whats so hard to believe? People did this with the PS2 as well and will continue to do it.

I called the local best buy at at 9 and they already had 15 people waiting in line for a 9am opening. No way am I waiting 12 hours in the rain for this thing.

I had a tru bundle pre-ordered which I've thought for the last two weeks would be my back up. Not any more... I'll be at tru first thing tomorrow to pick it up...

Theres no conspiracy theory...There are 70 people at the BB across the street from me and its pouring raining and 40 degrees. People have tents and umbrellas and look like they are dying.

Well, tomorrow I'm going to Best Buy for a CD after my classes, and if there's even 1 left, I'm buying that sucker. I know I have like a 1% chance, but hey, if I get it I get it. If not, I wait til January. The only reason I think I may have a chance is cause it seems like a slightly lower income area and the fact that a bunch of the college kids are already working on going home, so who knows. If by some freak occurence I do get one, I have no idea how I'm getting back to Ohio for break.

Haha, yea it's cold and raining here. I drove by at 10:30 PM and saw about 30 people lined up outside Best Buy for a 8 AM opening.

Crazy stuff. I've been home 3 hours, and they still have 6.5 to wait. And I consider it to be cold inside my house, haha.

I feel bad for the guy that waits in line for 8 hours and is told they are all out at 8:10 AM.

I just happened to drive by my BestBuy at 9:30 PM, and there were already 40 people outside for a 9AM release. I waited in line(#42) motivated by talk of a surprise MIDNIGHT release. When MIDNIGHT came and they said it would still be 9AM I threw in the towel. I left my cell phone at my brother's and was dressed to lightly for the 40 degree weather. I threw in the towel.

when you sell on ebay through paypal, just remember to send to CONFIRMED addresses only, and to send with tracking.. without those two important components, fraud is literally 100% guranteed, if they arent moraly good people. lol

i work at a circuit city in tampa and there was a guy in line at 6am monday morning. We only got 15 in so i feel bad for those that wait in line for nothing. It sucks that employees have to wait until after christmas if they want to buy one. But I aint trippin.

That's actually kind of sad that people will blow that much money on a videogame console. Just think about what you can buy with $1500. I'll be laughing when I go to buy it in a few months and the premium is down to $300.
