Reason is that I do have it on the most difficult level. I think it's a great game but it's scored low because it isn't something extraordinary. When you play a game long enough, you'll understand the ins and outs of it. There were probably 2 places that I had difficulty but the game was basically predictable from the A.I.'s perspective. I would still buy this game. I just honestly think that the A.I. could have been "smarter" in their attacking. It's the little things that get to me. Examples would be shooting some of the players in the face only to see them get back up. Shooting a player in the foot twice to see them kill over and die. Dying on a level and restarting from the checkpoint only to have the generally same type of movement from the A.I.
With the graphics, I was impressed. With the movement, it was sweet. The storyline was so well put that I was immersed for hours. I stayed up playing this sucker the first night knowing I had work in the morning. I think I should have edited it. I meant to say that I give the next-gen A.I. a 6.5 because it wasn't anything challenging. The players were put in a spot and given a type of dumbed intellect. They could have hid better. They could have moved in a more uniformed formation to flush me and my companions out. I think a good game is a game where I feel the challenge. It seems like less and less games are focusing on that. Ya'll pop it back in and let me know if you guys feel a different type of gameplay compared to the first time. I think because I didn't know what to expect seeing as I'm a virgin FPS for the most part, I had much higher expectations for the single player mission. It just seemed to fall short. I hope that's better. I was a little tired coming into this thread cause I had to put out the garbage. Was just off from the start. I think I'm about to try and take a nap.......
