    Re: Insane E-Bay bidders

I'm thinking about selling my premium locally on craigslist. I love the 360, but if I could double my money for it, that'd be $400 off my eventual HDTV purchase. Hmmm.....

EDIT: Ahh, nevermind. The extra money would be great, but I don't want to have to hunt around for another 360, if the shortage turns out to be PS2-like. I'll just save up and get an HDTV when I'm ready.

I wonder why people are selling XBOX 360 BOXES?

BOXES? Are people that stupid that they will not read an auction and purchase a box?

Funny. As if the guy would be able to hold someone to that purchase anyway. Boys and Girls, this is what happens when you have too much time on your hands.

Or how about not doing it because it's just wrong?

I think thats true with some of them but not all of them. My 360 sold for 1400 dollars.

                $1,400, that I believe. However, $12,900?

Just sad. What all did you have with the system? I just can't believe someone would be willing to pay that much money for something they can pick off the shelves for normal price within a few weeks (or get for a lot less, even on ebay).

It was just the system and I didnt believe it either but the guy appears to be pretty rich. I used Google Earth to find his home and he lives in a mansion in Nevada. 1400 is nothing for people like him.

Understandable then. Congrats. Nothing like making $1000 for a pre-order. I'm sure that paid for everything you got and then some.

                            Re: Insane E-Bay bidders

I was bidding on a 360 and the reserve was high and it didnt sell.

Why do people put the reserve so high?

Anyway, I looked at MyeBay and saw it was a second chance offer and a straight Buy-It-Now price so I jumped on it, sent payment and looked at my email.

The seller sent me an email saying he hit Second chance offer on mistake and dont pay for it, if I did pay, he was sending the payment back.

I hate eBay sometimes, people are always lying or tryin to get over. Instead of accepting my cash he probably wants to jack the price up higher for more dough.

Another example....my bro made his girl stand in the cold to get a 360. I told him that eBay was kickin with 360's going for $700 and up. He looked on eBay and said he just saw his same package (Sams club bundle w/xtra controller) go for $1100. Do you know what he does, puts in on eBay with a auction price of $500+ but BIN $1600+....idiot!!

First he has no gallery pic and title is bland. I told him if he wanted to make a quick buck, have a straight BIN at more than $200-$300 over what he paid and it would sell. He bought it for $479 he couldve put the 360 on there for $750 and it wouldve sold ASAP...silly boy!

Im still upset with this seller, I should report him to eBay.

That would be the logical thing to do.

well if there are people out there that want to pay top $$ for that (& several times the actual price) then let them.. there was a guy who was selling the domain name for 360 on ebay, a bid was up to $600 before people began to realize it wasnt the system..
