    360: High Def. Help

I hooked up the cable for high definition (red, blue, green and the two audios). After switching the cable over to HDTV and changing my TV to the proper input, I can see that the Xbox is giving a signal, but it is wavy and jumpy.

I'm assuming that since my TV has the proper input color connections that it is capable of using HD with the 360, but I can't get it to hook up. Is there something else I need to do or is there something wrong with my cable?

The cable I'm using is the standard HD cable with the premium Xbox 360.

    I'm a rookie.

check your connections... and also check that you actually have the switch all the way on HD...

Then lastly change the settings in the Dashboard to whatever your television supports...

Just because you have component connections doesn't mean that you have a HDTV. I have component connections as well but have to leave it switched on TV because my TV is not an HDTV.

      Still looks good either way.

        Ok, that's probably it then.

I tried my TV down stairs (a 65-inch) and I could've sworn that was HDTV but it still did the same thing. But, oh well. I'm not worried about it. The system looks great anyway.
