no picture on my xbox 360, plz help

I cant get this thing to work on my Plasma. I get sound but no picture, I am using the system selector pro, so I can have more hookups with my plasma tv. It worked with my ps2 and dvd and hd tivo but so far I cant get any picture. Im frustrated , is there anything im doing wrong, thx

do you have the button switched to HDTV on the cord?

I know this may be silly, but do you have the colors in the correct place in the TV?

so you have the green, blue, and red hooked up right, you don't have the yellow hooked up anywhere do you?

I bought a system selector at best buy like 7 months ago, it lets me have more componet hookups for HD. Actually here it is, it has always worked for everything else

do you have the XBOX360 setup to the correct output for what your TV supports? 480,720,1080?

Your gonna laugh, i kept telling myself the video cable doesnt look connected too good, so I decided to push it in harder and it snapped into place, I was afraid to push too hard because if I accidentally broke it I knew I couldnt get another one. So Stupid me, but thanks to everyone for helping me out.

All these threads about HDTV there should be an HDTV only Forum. Seems like there are alot of threads from people who cant/dont know how to get their Tvs set up.
