weather probably, could be theft too. I don't know where you live, but I wouldn't put anything electronic in front of a window.

All my components are about 2 feet away from the window. On the next block I have a police station and fire department.

I live in the south suburbs outside of Chicago. It gets cold here.

isnt it hard to put the game in when its verticle as well?

Mine is in a entertainment center, second to bottom self and its a square type area..wonder if I should move it on top of my center? Think its too boxed in?

The 360 is really heavy, it will take a lot for it to fall.

why do you have speakers on the top? shouldn't they be on the floor or are you just really tall?

no wonder you are having problems with your controller. how much for the puppy dog in the window?

The 360 is really heavy, it will take a lot for it to fall.

nice setup, but I see the problem with your wireless controllers could be due to the speakers. Are you using heavy shielded cabling for the speakers to prevent any frequency loss?

I personally wouldn't keep it that high or like that. All it takes is someone bumping into your entertainment center and bye by 360.

I don't use those speakers for the 360 at all. thats what I use to listen to music. The stero is old, it's really not that high. Oh by the way the dog is not for sale....lol. My daughter is watching Disney when I took the pic a few minutes ago. My controller acting funny is not from having the 360 on top, is it....lol. The power pack is right next to one of the speaker too, so my 360 is very ventilated

trust me, the entertainment center doesn't even budge even if you shake it, plus liek I said even if I try and skake the entertainment center a little the 360 doesn't move at all. Why you think I should put horizontal? If I just don't want to block the vents.

if you look at my pic, I was going to put the 360 in the lower right part of my EC, I said I want it to breath, so i put it on top along with the power pack, so both can get the right amonut of air. If I had put in down below in that spot I would have put it horizontal, it's just i think it's better at the top where it's more open to get air. Also I have no problem putting my game in verticle, I like it better that way, thats just me.

mine is in a Tv cabinet and the power supply is out and elevated to distribute the heat.
