Does anyone know if there is a value setting in the service menu for the panasonic 26 inch to reduce ghosting. I have been noticing this lately and cant to seem to fix it. When im further from the tv i dont notice it. But if im closer i can see it clearly.
Is the Panasonic an LCD? If it's not you shouldn't have a problem with ghosting.

Its the 26 crt hdtv. I have heard others that have seen ghosting on their sets as well so i know its not only mine. Its not a tv killer but i like to have my things running the best that they can be.
I really like my 26wx15 panny. It's a great set. I don't watch much tv or play a whole lot of games but the picture is really good and I haven't had any problems to speak of. I think this 398 set is a Excellent deal. Seeing as regular named brand tv's aren't much less.....Plus it has decent HD as far as I'm concerned. It's comparable to my 32" Wega HD picture.
the lower the better, basically 12 ms and less will do the trick.
as for the panny set, i dont think its that great of a deal. Its 1080i only and i dont see the point in taking the plunge with a tv that doesnt take progressive signals over 480...

Ghosting is mostly an issue with LCD TV's. You shouldn't be having ghosting issues with an CRT HDTV.
Well I recently got an HDTV (26" Dell LCD) but umm...The games don't look any better. I think they prolly look a lil worse because the picture isn't as clear as it was on my regular TV.
I saw that there are HD cables for Xbox. I have to buy those to play my XBOX in HD? I hope not, I'm already mad that I gotta buy a dvd playback kit to watch DVDs on this thing :..(

Is there anyway to make this picture any better?
edit: I'm playing CH2k6 btw if that helps any
360 or regular XBOX??
Kinda confused by your post, you mention a DVD playback kit and CH2K6 as well. If its just a regular XBOX the games won't look all that much better on an HD capable screen...its just switching to 480p (some go to 720p) but its not nearly as high res as 360 games.
